We are in the final stretch and can finally see the finish line. There is only one week left before takeoff and I feel mentally and physically prepared. It has been quite an experience already in just the preparation process from when we started in Black History Month this year. We have met so many amazing people and connected with the community in new ways, continuing our outreach and helping to spread this desire for connection to the homeland.
Today is our send off event in Long Beach! Here is your invitation to come celebrate with us tonight as we give a last stateside performance before the takeoff next week:
