Go Heritage 2019 - Day 8

Go Heritage 2019 - Day 8 (7/3/19)

Today was designated for shopping! I want to be sure to support the local vendors and stimulate the economy in any small part that I can. Oshodi Market is a vendor-filled network of streets bustling with energy as people come locally and internationally to buy fabrics and other goods. The selection of patterns and colors and textures and materials is so vast but I stay focused as I find the best designs suited for the new line of PALA vests to release next cycle. Luckily Innocent is there to help bargain with the sellers who definitely gouge the prices for unwitting tourists.

After a second failed attempt to visit Lekki Conservation Centre, which apparently was flooded out by the morning rains, we went to a huge and beautiful hotel on the island to hang with Adore who was booked for a photoshoot for the day. We got in a quick photo session together as the client prepared the room.

Next we visited the Terra Kulture | Art, Culture, Lifestyle, and Education Centre where I bought some great pieces in the gift shop and viewed beautiful artworks in the gallery. There are so many hidden and renowned centres for art here. It is quite inspiring. We actually got to visit yet another one that Innocent's friend works at before finally retiring to the hotel.
